You don't need to have fished before to learn about effective and effortless fly casting. Our fishing instructors will take you through the art of casting a fly and accompany you to the water's edge to provide guidance and encouragement as you sample the delight of fly-fishing.
Our fly-casting tuition takes place on the upper lake with the Castle looming over you. Here you will learn to cast the line and select the correct fly, deciding whether to fish on the surface using a dry fly or beneath using a wet fly. You will learn to identify just the right spot to place your fly, providing an irresistible lure to the fish.
Fly casting offers a peaceful and contemplative addition to your programme
