Many of our longer exercises required map-reading. Though this has worked
reasonably well in the past, the time taken to teach it is not time best spent.
We have now moved to GPS, which is much quicker to teach and gives phenomenal
accuracy.
With three permanent orienteering courses laid out on the estate, we can now
offer specific training on GPS.
This is a good introduction for anyone planning any overseas travel.
