The Great Hall may also be used for receptions following a civil ceremony in the Drawing Room. It can accommodate up to fifty people for a meal and is ideal for dancing afterwards.
For larger receptions, it is possible to erect a marquee in the courtyard
adjacent to the Castle and this extends the possible numbers so that you can
make the most of your special day. 
If you prefer a separate venue elsewhere for your reception or need a larger
facility then we have regularly worked with the team at Rheged
and can liaise closely with the team there to ensure a seamless day.
